Gift Ideas That Get People Off Their Phones

Hands-on gifts that turn into an afternoon activity, including a gold-panning bag that's guaranteed to have gold.

The best gifts give people something to do. A bag of paydirt and a pan turns a kitchen table or backyard tub into a treasure hunt for the afternoon.

Why paydirt works for families

Goldn Paydirt bags are factory sealed and guaranteed to contain gold, so nobody goes home empty-handed. Kids learn to swirl, settle, and wash off the lighter material, and you can talk about the gold rush along the way.

Pair it with a story

Look up a short history of the historic Gold Belt before you start panning. It makes finding that first flake feel even better.
